From the spectacle of exploding skyscrapers to the fanfare of shock and awe, humanity was dragged by its ankles into its next hundred year war. Nothing is ever going to be the same again. So they told us on that fateful September morning in 2001, and so they have been reminding us ever since.

And ask ourselves, why now? What factors in the past have limited the mass enslavement? Was it really the case they lost control over the serfs with the tumultuous period of the industrial revolution? Did the technology and population boom escape them for a while? Has it been the advent of the computer, mass taxation and affording to fund enormous standing armies that has allowed them to just now start to reign in the few wild cattle and return them all back to their rightful place?
